About the Job
The firm seeks an associate with 2-3 years of experience to join our Chemical and Life Sciences practice group in our Los Angeles or San Francisco office.
The associate would work with our team of litigators on consumer products-related matters, including California's Proposition 65, false advertising claims, consumer class actions, and products liability.Candidates should have strong research, analysis and writing skills, experience in defending and taking depositions, motion practice, and brief writing. A background or interest in science is a plus.
Our associates receive meaningful, hands-on legal work at every stage of their careers.
While some experience in these areas is ideal, none is required as we will provide training and work together on projects in real time.
The associate will get immediate litigation experience, including research, writing and arguing motions, as well as preparing for and attending hearings, depositions and the occasional trial.

A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required. Membership in the California Bar, active and in good standing, is also required.

The actual base salary offered will be dependent upon the applicant's experience and qualifications, as well as other job-related factors, including but not limited to, relevant skills, education, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, geographic location.
