Chemical Technician - Cross Resource Group

Job description:
Primary role will be installing, testing, repairing, maintaining and inventorying pilot plant instrumentation and equipment. Instrumentation includes pressure transducers, thermocouples, scales, flow controllers, etc. Equipment would include pumps, motors and heaters. In addition to installing and maintaining new equipment, this position will maintain calibration records and help ensure all items are inventoried. Assist with wire diagrams and control software setup and troubleshooting. Secondary role would be to assist with construction and operation of pilot plants using pipe, tubing, AC and DC powered instruments/equipment, cutting, wiring, drawing, etc.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Hands on experience with mechanical and electrical systems
• Must have experience with refinery or plant instrumentation and AC/DC power
• Any experience with chemicals or chemical processes is a plus
• Experience troubleshooting and problem solving is also a plus
• Computer experience with Excel and Word is a must
• Experience in a pilot plant and demonstration scale operations is preferred
• Must be able to work a 24/7 shift schedule
• Steel toed shoes are required
• MVR is required

Dress Code: Collared Shirt/ Jeans
Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm must be able to work a 24/7 shift work schedule as needed
