Overview:
As a Chemist, you play a pivotal role in conducting research, performing experiments, and analyzing substances to drive innovation and ensure quality control. Your expertise directly impacts the development of new products, improvement of existing processes, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct chemical analyses and experiments to develop new products or improve existing ones
Utilize various laboratory techniques to test and analyze substances
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Develop and validate analytical methods
Perform quality control tests to maintain product standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive research and development projects
Record and analyze data, prepare technical reports, and present findings
Stay updated with industry trends, scientific advancements, and new technologies
Participate in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
Contribute to the development and improvement of standard operating procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the laboratory
Support process optimization and production scale-up activities
Ensure adherence to good laboratory practices and quality management systems
Assist in the training and supervision of junior staff
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field; Master's or Ph.D. may be preferred
Demonstrated experience in conducting chemical analyses and experiments
Proficiency in utilizing various laboratory techniques and instrumentation
Strong knowledge of research methods, data analysis, and interpretation
Understanding of quality control processes and regulatory requirements
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize laboratory processes
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Adherence to safety protocols and ethical standards
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Proficiency in relevant software and data analysis tools
In-depth understanding of chemical principles and reactions
Experience with HPLC, GC, IR, NMR, and other analytical techniques
Knowledge of statistical analysis and experimental design
