Position Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing the company’s financial activities, developing long-term financial strategies, and ensuring sustainable growth. This individual will provide leadership in all financial aspects of the business, including planning, reporting, analysis, and risk management, to support operational excellence and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all financial functions including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth goals.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Oversee cash flow management, financial planning, and investment activities.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and financial institutions.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial performance.
- Lead the finance and accounting teams, ensuring efficient processes and accurate financial reporting.
- Drive cost control initiatives and implement best practices to improve profitability.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the construction, glass, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial planning, and financial analysis.
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting software.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning and driving financial performance in a high-growth environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of construction accounting practices is a plus.
