About the Job
Our client, a leading chemical manufacturing company, with 50 years of industry experience and a current revenue of $100 million, is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with over 5 years of experience as a Senior Vice President of Finance or Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$200k – $250k plus 20% Bonus
Position Overview:
The successful Chief Financial Officer (CFO) candidate will possess an active CPA certification and have a strong background in private equity and mergers/acquisitions, as well as direct manufacturing experience. We are looking for a forward-thinking leader who can help our client navigate our continued growth and drive financial excellence.
Responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO):
- Develop and implement financial strategies and policies to support the company’s growth and profitability.
- Manage the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Oversee financial risk management, investment strategies, and capital structure optimization.
- Direct and support mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and practices.
- Lead the finance team, driving continuous improvement and professional development.
- Drive strategic decision-making through robust financial insights, data analysis, and forecasting.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including private equity firms, investors, and financial institutions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial and operational goals.
- Ensure the company maintains a strong audit trail and complies with all financial reporting requirements and regulations.
- Implement and maintain financial systems and controls for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Qualifications for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO):
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Vice President of Finance or CFO, with a preference for experience in the manufacturing industry.
- An active CPA certification Demonstrated private equity and mergers/acquisitions experience.
- Ability to lead and manage a team.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- Active CPA.
- MBA is preferred.
