Our client a fortune 500 company is seeking Chief Information Security Officer
Location: 3 days per week in either NJ, NYC or Delaware
Type: Perm
Role Overview:
• Lead the organization's end-to-end security strategy, driving the development and implementation of security policies, risk assessments, and controls. Collaborate across departments to ensure compliance with regulations and protect information assets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive security strategy and roadmap.
• Implement risk management frameworks and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Oversee security operations, architecture, and incident response.
• Lead a high-performing security team, mentoring talent and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Present cybersecurity updates to leadership and manage vendor security.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years in tech and security.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees and security certifications preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Current and valid security certification such as CISM, CISA, CRISC or CISSP, strongly preferred
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline, master's degree preferred. – Engineering background Ideal
• 20+ years work experience
