Are you a seasoned leader in facilities management with a passion for excellence? The Columbia County School District, a top-performing and rapidly growing district in Georgia, is seeking a Chief of Maintenance Operations & Facilities.
Position Overview: This critical leadership role involves managing the maintenance, cleanliness, and beautification of all district buildings, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will lead a diverse team of professionals and ensure the efficient use of district resources. Key responsibilities include implementing proactive and preventative maintenance plans, overseeing groundskeeping, and managing compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in facilities management, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong project management, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in building codes, safety regulations, and building trades (mechanical, electrical, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: Competitive, $116K-$170K based on experience, with medical benefits, retirement plan, and vacation.
