The Chief of Staff (COS) uses strong leadership and problem-solving skills to support and assist the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and President of Sales and Commercial with the daily operations of the organization including finance, commercial and sales.

Your New Job
The Position
The Chief of Staff (COS) uses strong leadership and problem-solving skills to support and assist the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and President of Sales and Commercial with the daily operations of the organization including finance, commercial and sales.
Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
- Effective Communication: Engage and interact with leadership, employees, clients, and stakeholders across the company as necessary.
- Performance Review Management: Aggregate and maintain monthly performance reviews across all programs, including other critical business performance meetings and reviews.
- Internal Communication: Collaborate with internal communication leaders and functions like HR, Finance, and Operations to prepare internal business communications.
- Strategic Project Leadership: Lead various high-profile projects and initiatives strategically.
- Data Analysis: Explore and analyze data related to production, financials, efficiency metrics, and KPIs, presenting relevant data sets in a clear format.
- Project/Program Management: Manage initiatives such as quarterly financial reviews and coordinate leadership initiatives.
- Operational Support: Provide operational support as necessary, including business process reviews and standardization of communications, documents, and critical business KPIs, metrics, and dashboards.
- Strategic Insight: Offer insight and recommendations for both short-term and long-term organizational growth plans.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate departments/processes and make suggestions for process automation and increased efficiency.
- Presentation Preparation: Prepare and coordinate PowerPoint presentations for internal and external needs.
- Schedule Management: Manage the CFO, Sales Leaders schedule, scheduling meetings, and planning travel.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Project Management: Proficiency in establishing accountability frameworks for direct reports, creating management dashboards, and defining key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Cross-Functional Communication: Ability to effectively engage and follow up with senior leaders across various departments.
- Interpersonal Skills: Capacity to interact and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Proactiveness: Resourcefulness and initiative to lead high-profile projects and initiatives.
- Analytical Aptitude: Ability to conduct research, interpret industry trends and analytics, and apply findings to decision-making processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including the development of compelling presentations.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in composing, typing, and proofing materials, along with adept prioritization and meeting of deadlines.
- Professionalism: Demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Technical:
- Advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- PowerPoint/ good at presentations/communications (pull together key messages/slides for board/investors/customers etc.
- Power BI or other business intelligence software experience strongly desired.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Ideally, 2-5 years of experience providing top-tier leadership support in the financial, construction, or communications sectors.
