JOB SUMMARY
BKV Corporation is seeking a dynamic, high-potential emerging leader with a strong blend of both technical expertise and interpersonal skills to serve as Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Chief Technical Resources Officer (CTRO). In this pivotal role, the CoS will provide direct, day-to-day support to the CTRO, helping to execute the company’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives. The CoS will work in close collaboration with key executives, management, and administrative staff to foster transparency, accountability, and alignment across the company’s strategic initiatives. A key responsibility will be driving ownership and coordination of these initiatives, ensuring processes are efficient, effective, and in line with BKV's broader goals. Additionally, the CoS will support the CTRO on a wide range of responsibilities, including managing relationships with investors and stakeholders, overseeing reporting activities, conducting targeted analysis, and handling ad hoc requests as needed.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring cross-departmental alignment, streamlining operations, and driving execution of high-priority projects. This role demands an individual with strong strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and proven leadership in project management to facilitate seamless collaboration across teams and support the company in achieving its goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Typical job responsibilities of the CHIEF OF STAFF TO CTRO include:
Board & Committee Meetings Preparation Support – Work with Executives, Chiefs of Staffs, and functional leaders to:
• Ensure high quality deliverables are prepared, reviewed with the CTRO and delivered to the Board and corresponding Committees on a timely matter.
• Track and follow up on all action items assigned by these committees to keep the CTRO informed and aligned.
Executive Meetings and Presentations Support – Work with CTRO and or functional leaders to:
• Structure and storyboard impactful presentations that effectively communicate key messages to the Executives and or the Technical Resources Organization, TRO.
• Ensure all action items from Executive or functional meetings are clearly identified and followed up by the CTRO and team.
Specific Business as Usual (BAU), TRO, and Strategic Initiatives – Work with the CTRO and other functions and parties (including 3rd party consultants/contractors) to:
• Provide in-depth support for BAU, TRO, and strategic projects, offering clarity, top-down guidance, and problem-solving rigor when needed.
• Manage key stakeholders and third-party consultants to ensure strong delivery of high-performance results.
• Develop transparent tools to prioritize and track the progress of BAU, TRO, and strategic initiatives.
• Help facilitate strategic planning sessions where required, ensuring alignment across teams.
• Regularly update the CTRO on the progress of key projects and initiatives, providing visibility and transparency.
Ad Hoc Analysis and Support – Work with CTRO and other relevant team members to:
• Conduct targeted and in-depth studies and analyses on market trends, emerging and established technologies and other relevant initiatives to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Document and support the rationale behind analyses, providing clear back-ups to ensure transparency.
• Proactively manage the CTRO’s calendar and time, optimizing scheduling efficiency.
• Draft TRO communications when needed and ensure clear, consistent messaging.
• Keep the CTRO informed of the progress on key projects and initiatives. Perform other duties as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. SQL, Power BI, Spotfire or similar tool is a plus.
• Strong leader with a successful track record in building effective relationships at executive, board and/or organizational level.
• Agile strategic thinker with a proven ability to prioritize multiple goals and deadlines while building and adapting in real time; consulting background preferred.
• Understanding of natural gas industry standards, market trends, emerging issues, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong strategic planning and project management skills.
• Highly structured, organized, and great attention to details.
• Strong collaboration (team player and low ego), facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly motivated, self-starting and enjoys diversity of work with a delivery-focused and results-oriented mindset.
• Fast learner with growth mindset and an advanced ability to innovate, embrace change and have grit.
• Fast pace and dynamic environment work experience is a plus.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
• Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS
• This position is located in Denver, CO at BKV Headquarters. Remote work will be considered.

SALARY RANGE
• $107,000 to $198,000
• STIP: 30%
