Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a dynamic organization? We are seeking a seasoned Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee our organization's ongoing operations and procedures. The COO role is a key member of the senior management team, reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). You will have to maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader with excellent people skills, business acuity, and an exemplary work ethic. The goal of the COO position is to secure the functionality of the business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
As our COO, your primary duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures.
2. Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
3. Establish policies that promote company culture and vision.
4. Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives.
5. Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
6. Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
7. Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance.
8. Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.)
9. Manage relationships with partners/vendors.
10. Assist CEO in fundraising ventures.
11. Implement and manage operational budgets, and monitor cost-efficiency.
12. Manage risk in the organization.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
1. Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role.
2. Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
3. Experience in managing and overseeing business operations, people, and ventures.
4. Knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g., supply chain, finance, customer service, etc.)
5. Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
6. Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
7. Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
8. Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
9. BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
10. Proven experience in process improvement and operations management.
11. Experience in budgeting and risk management.
12. Excellent knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
13. Ability to inspire confidence and create trust.
14. Ability to develop and implement operational policies and strategic plans.
