Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. seeks a full-time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to evaluate and treat patients with mental & behavioral health disorders, including substance abuse disorders at CIFC Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Under the direction of the Chief of Behavioral Health, or Chief Medical Officer, the Psychiatrist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to oversee the treatment and medication management for a diverse pediatric/adolescent patient population in an out-patient community health setting, assisting those in need and working with an underserved population.
This position will also work with our Psychiatric Residents, in a training and supervisory capacity.
Monday through Friday schedule with no on-call responsibilities.

Requirements: Successful candidates must possess a Physician's license and CSR from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health. Board certification or the ability to become certified is required. Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, brief assessments, individual & group psychotherapy, and substance abuse treatment is required. At least 1 years' experience, and previous supervision is preferred.
