Join Our Team: Northern Hills Child Care is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team, supporting the growth and development of children with diverse needs, including those who exhibit challenging behaviors. Our mission is to provide an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive. What You Will Do:

• Develop and implement engaging, inclusive lesson plans that accommodate the unique needs of each child, focusing on social-emotional learning and resilience.
• Foster a safe, supportive classroom environment for children with a variety of backgrounds and needs, including those exhibiting violent behaviors.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families, creating a partnership that supports the child’s well-being and development.
• Employ strategies for managing and de-escalating challenging behaviors in a compassionate and effective manner.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills in supporting children with behavioral challenges.

Who You Are:

• You have experience in child care, education, or a related field, with a particular interest in or experience with children who exhibit challenging behaviors.
• You possess a deep understanding of and commitment to inclusion, empathy, and patience in your teaching approach.
• You are skilled in creating and implementing strategies that support social-emotional development and address behavioral challenges.
• You are resilient, able to maintain composure and provide stability in challenging situations.
• You share our core values of inclusion, hope, and the belief in every child’s potential to grow and succeed.
• You are passionate about your own professional growth and welcome opportunities for learning.
