Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the center's operations, ensuring smooth daily operations and high standards of early childhood care.
- Design and implement educational programs that comply with state regulations and support children’s cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
- Oversee staff development, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations to create a supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and enriching learning environment that promotes child development.
- Actively engage and communicate with parents to address concerns and provide feedback on children’s progress.
- Manage the financial operations of the center, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
- Direct enrollment processes, including admissions, registration, and waitlist management.
- Collaborate with community stakeholders and align strategic initiatives with the center’s goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required).
- Director certification (preferred) or willingness to complete a Director Credential course within the first year.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in early childhood education, with 3-5 years in a leadership role (required).
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development, educational best practices, and curriculum design.
- Proven experience in budget management, strategic planning, and operational oversight.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in fostering community relations and engaging with parents.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements in childcare settings.
- Certification in Child Development Associate (CDA) or equivalent.
