Position Overview
We are seeking a Center Director to lead our childcare center in Las Vegas, Nevada. We emphasize Nevada-specific funding opportunities and compliance with state standards. This role is ideal for an experienced, detail-oriented leader who can effectively manage operations, drive engagement, and ensure high-quality care for our diverse community of families.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Provide a clear vision and structured oversight, ensuring the center adheres to state licensing, Nevada funding protocols, and quality improvement systems (e.g., QRIS). Strong attention to detail is essential for compliance with Nevada-specific funding requirements.
- Community and Family Engagement: Establish partnerships with families, staff, and community stakeholders to foster a warm and inclusive environment.
- Digital and Social Media Management: Manage the center's online presence, including website updates and social media activity on platforms like Facebook and Twitter to boost visibility and engagement.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations, including staff supervision, training, enrollment management, and active family communication.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred) or Associate's degree with at least 30 ECE units.
- Licensing Compliance: Must meet Nevada director requirements and strongly understand state funding guidelines and licensing standards.
Preferred Experience
- Leadership in Related Fields: Experience in roles such as Program Coordinator, Operations Manager, Childcare Administrator, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Therapist, or Curriculum Specialist.
- Early Childhood Education: At least 3 years in ECE roles, focusing on quality improvement systems, compliance, and state-funded programs.
Key Skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with meticulous attention to detail for overseeing funding and compliance standards in Nevada.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with state authorities, QRIS/CLASS coaches, health departments, and other external agencies.
