Childcare Teacher Aide/Floater (All Age Groups) - Foothills Child Development Center

                                                    Early Childhood Floater/Teacher Aide 

  Foothills Child Development is a licensed childcare center seeking Teacher Aides/Floaters to support BOTH all age groups!    

 To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, the ability to pass all background checks, and candidates must be 18 years of age. A plus if you have previous childcare experience!    

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, Part Time: 2:00pm - 6:30pm OR Full Time: 9:30am - 6:30pm  

Compensation: $12 -$13.00 per hour, based on education and experience (+$500 sign on bonus)

Our Hiring Process:    

1. Resume screen 
2. Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes) 
3. On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes) 
   1. Q&A  
   2. Classroom observation 
4.  Offer   

Main Job Responsibilities:    

• Willingness to effectively substitute for any position as needed. This includes covering staff members’ breaks, filling in for staff members in their absences, and assuming the classroom duties of staff members before or after their scheduled shifts.  
• Demonstrate patience, kindness and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff.  
• Operate as a team player and willingness to help where needed under the director of the lead teacher.   
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs. 
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
