Preschool Soccer Coach - Super Soccer Stars

Do you love playing and teaching children? Then this is the opportunity for you to make a positive impact on the kids in our community through imaginative learning and physical activity.

Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader), and enjoys working with children. This position is excellent for someone who has an interest in pursuing early childhood education, or child development.

You will be given the tools to access prewritten lesson plans and videos for you to follow so you can focus on what is most important the joy of developing children’s social skills and teaching children the fundamentals, all while having fun.

Our coaches...

• can work up to 10-12 hours a week and can earn very competitive pay ranging from earns $25 - $35 per hour after completing on-field training.
• Our Coaches use individual attention to ensure every child has success.
• Our Coaches use a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun with a stress-free environment.
• Our Coaches use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success.
• And finally, our coaches have a blast. They are open-minded and know that coaching is a continuous journey. All Coaches are open to feedback and strive to be better by attending regular training and following the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual.
• Must have access to reliable transportation

About the Company: Youth Athletes United was created to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth sports, starting with their first sports experience. Our goal is to provide an experience where every child is an athlete and capable of being something special. The long-term impact will allow us to create healthy habits at a young age, teach life skills, and increase youth activity across the board.

Our History: Super Soccer Stars has been in the youth soccer business for over 22 years and has been recognized as the largest operating program in the US.

Requirements

Schedule:

The ideal candidate would able to choose between Wednesday to Friday mornings (9:00am -11:30am) and/or Tuesday to Friday afternoon (2:30pm - 5pm) with an option to add some Saturdays as needed for camps, soccer club partnerships, etc.

Location:

Classes are held across schools between North and South of Austin and surrounding areas . Depending on the location of the coach's primary residence they may be required to travel up to 30-35 min to get to a class location with additional compensation.

Required soft skills and professional skills:

• Being physically active, punctual, and organized is part of life
• Ability to work with kids ranging from 2 - 8+ years old independently
• Demonstrates a history of integrity, doing what is right even when nobody is looking
