The Georgetown Branch is looking for an enthusiastic, creative individual who is passionate about igniting a love for reading and learning in young minds. In this dynamic role, you'll lead engaging storytimes, develop fun and interactive programs, and connect with families in our community. If you thrive in a lively environment and are eager to inspire the next generation of readers, we want to hear from you! Help us make our library a magical place for children and families to explore and discover.
This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position. The schedule will include a mix of day, evening, and Saturday hours.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; AND two (2) years of library operations experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Valid Driver's License
- Candidate must have completed nine credit hours of specific library science courses or commit to completing them within three years of start date in this position. Completion of this coursework will allow the person obtaining this position to achieve the required Librarian Certification Level 5 within three years of start date in this position. After requirements are met, must earn 50 LEU (Library Education Units) within five years.

- Starting pay is $19.34 per hour and up based on experience
