Saint Augustine Youth Services (SAYS) has been providing quality therapeutic services to youth for over 30 years and is currently accepting applications for a Children’s Therapist on the Mobile Response Crisis Team. This is a unique, full-time opportunity to become a member of a dedicated and professional team passionate about the care of the youth we serve, who are ages 25 and younger.

WHAT WE VALUE:
A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy disciplines, or Psychology. A current FL LCSW, LMHC or LMFT preferred.
Two years’ experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families in providing therapeutic mental health and/or substance use services
A valid Florida driver’s license
A history free of offenses as listed on the Affidavit of Good Moral Character
Must be able to pass an extensive background screening
Must be able to pass a drug screening
Positive, professional manner to the children and other agency personnel
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Be a passionate role model and remain a positive mentor for children
Enjoy working with a team and thinking outside the box to support children and their families.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Conduct risk assessments and coordinate/communicate with identified parties’ outcome and recommendations
Maintain knowledge of involuntary psychiatric evaluation procedures
Schedule and coordinate individual, and family therapy
Maintain a list of community providers for referral services
Follow up and report all progress to relevant parties
