Hours: Part-Time - 20 hours; Monday-Friday; Must be willing to work two evenings until 6:30/7:00pm.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilites
- Notify doctor the follow up patient has arrived and check the patient's chart to see they do any supportive therapies
- Guide the patient to their respected supportive therapies and set them up to the their respected treatment
- Transition patients from supportive therapies to the treatment room or vice versa.
- Keep an eye on arrival screen and be ready to start patients every 15 minutes
- When working with patients:
- Interact with them and ask how they are feeling
- Maintain professionalism regarding conversations in the clinic
- Maintain a clean and sanitized clinic/office
- If you hear a timer go off, immediately check on the patient
- Patient care, support, and guidance
- Execute plans of care under guidance of Chiropractic providers.
- Assist with set up and delivery of modalities (e.g., electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hot/cold packs, etc.)
- Scribe for Chiropractors during patient visits
- Utilize appropriate educational techniques including demonstration and cueing to ensure patient understanding of exercises.
- Monitor patient safety and response to exercise intensity.
- Clinic flow
- Monitor patient arrivals to department.
- Start patients on time for scheduled appointments/keep patients apprised of any clinician delays.
- Maintain cleanliness of clinic, including waiting areas, exam rooms, and all equipment.
- Order all supplies to keep clinic stocked, under direction from Manager
The Experiences You Bring
- CPR certification required (certification offered through Duly Health and Care)
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of common medical terminology and abbreviations.
- Understand principles, as well as contraindications/precautions in the use of therapy modalities.
- Can identify proper patient set-up on each piece of equipment with the ability to adjust.
- Identify planes of movement and demonstrate proper exercise positioning.
- Team-oriented.
- Attention to detail and follow-through.
- Problem solving, lateral thinking and reasoning skills.
- Communication skills.
