The City Recorder/Executive Assistant to the City Manager, under the direction of the City Manager, is a critical member of the Management Team. This role involves overseeing city recorder functions, acting as the Clerk of the City Council, managing city records, and serving as the City Elections Official. The position requires managing confidential information, providing executive support to the City Manager, and handling special projects. The role demands independent judgement, a deep understanding of local government operations, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Municipal Clerk experience and certification although not required are highly preferred.
