Civil Construction Estimator Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather necessary information and ensure project goals and objectives are met.
- Utilize industry-leading software and tools to perform quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates.
- Stay up-to-date with current market trends, pricing, and construction methods to ensure competitive and accurate cost estimates.
Civil Construction Estimator Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction estimating.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Civil Construction Estimator Benefits:
