Position Overview:
A leading construction firm is seeking a skilled Project Manager with experience in civil construction for commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in excavating, site work, and utilities, primarily focused on roads and infrastructure projects. If you have a passion for managing projects, understanding contracts, reading and interpreting plans, and scheduling, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of civil construction projects, including excavating, site work, and utilities.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Read and understand contracts, plans, and specifications.
- Work closely with the construction team to maintain project quality and efficiency.
- Split time between the field and office to oversee project progress and ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in civil construction project management.
- Commercial experience in project management.
- Construction Management degree preferred but not required.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn from others.
Work Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- No overnight travel or weekends/holidays involved.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Total compensation: $85K-$120K based on experience.
- Company truck with gas card.
- Company phone and computer.
- Full benefits.
- 401k plan and end-of-year profit sharing.
