Civil Design Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

We are looking for a Civil Design Engineer to start working with a client of ours in Charlotte, NC as soon as possible. This candidate will be responsible for performing all aspects of site design including site layout, number crunching, calculations for grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, erosion control, and sedimentation control projects.

Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Required by Client

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 7–10 years of experience in all facets of site design, including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion and sedimentation control.
• Knowledge of current codes, design guidelines, and best practices in stormwater management.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D
• Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred by Client

• PE
• Experience in the design-build and commercial development industry

Pay Rate: $40/hr - $50/hr
Term:  6 months contract to hire
