Qualifications:Who we want… (Requirements)
Bachelor's degree; or minimum five years related experience and/or training in civil design; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail and AutoCad applications.

What we expect… (Essential Functions)
- Confers with clients, engineering personnel, and architects on projects.
- Compiles and analyzes data on such site conditions as geographic location; soil, vegetation, and rock features; drainage; and location of structures for preparation of environmental impact report and development of landscaping plans.
- Prepares site plans, working drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for land development, showing ground contours, vegetation, locations of structures, and such facilities as roads, walks, parking areas, fences, walls, and utilities, coordinating arrangement of existing and proposed land features and structures under the direction of civil engineer.
- Inspects construction work in progress to ensure compliance with landscape specifications, to approve quality of materials and work, and to advise client and construction personnel on landscape features.
- Coordinates and overviews the performance of plans with subcontractors and installations.
Other duties may be assigned.

Specific vision abilities include accurate near and distant vision.
Frequently in a normal office environment where noise level is moderate and temperature/humidity is controlled. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. May be exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives and vibrations. Noise level on the job site is normally moderate to loud. Overtime may be required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervision of technical staff assigned to support project.
