About the Job
A well-respected Civil Engineering Firm located in Emmaus, PA is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team. Typical duties will include development of Erosion & Sedimentation (E&S) Control Plans, Stormwater Management, site layout, grading plans and related calculations, reports and spreadsheets, prepare various permit applications and perform QC/QA review. Municipal Engineering duties will include plan review and preparation of plans and specifications for public works projects.
Job Requirements:
- Required BS Degree from an accredited civil engineering program; EIT required with the goal to obtain a PA Professional Engineers License
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with a Working knowledge of all aspects of civil site development including site design, stormwater management, utility design, cost estimating, site construction, etc.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Traffic Analysis and Design and preparation of Traffic Studies are a plus
- Knowledge or experience with State and Federal agencies as well as local Counties
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and collaborate with others on a design team
- AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Ability to manage staff
- Consistently demonstrate professional demeanor, appearance and attitude
- Working knowledge of Microsoft software products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
