Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT candidates are preferred; will consider those who are still pursuing EIT (must have a timeline for this laid out).
- 0-10 years of experience in land development
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D; MicroStation experience is a plus!
- Competency with hydraulic modeling software such as HydroCAD, HydraFlow and HEC-RAS
- Ability to work on a team with other employees, as well as independently when needed
Job Description/Duties:
- Will be working with Senior Engineers on land development construction drawing packages for various commercial and residential projects
- Perform grading using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Preform stormwater management calculations using HydroCAD
- Prepare and complete E&S control plans as well as permit packages
- Research zoning codes and ordinance requirements for project sites
- Assist PM to ensure project deadlines are met
- Coordination with municipalities, utility companies and other public regulatory agencies
