We are seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Engineer specializing in Transportation to join our team. This role involves the design and coordination of municipal transportation projects, including highways, roadways, intersections, pavement markings, signage, traffic signals, culverts, and bridges. The ideal candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to prepare design reports, conceptual plans, detailed design plans, and calculations that align with regulatory standards and project objectives.

Reporting to a Project Manager or Principal, the Engineer I will play a key role in developing impactful, high-quality transportation designs that enhance safety, functionality, and sustainability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with 4 to 8+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required
• Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads, or other industry-standard programs, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong knowledge of design guidelines and standards, including AASHTO, MUTCD, and NYSDOT standards
• Familiarity with NYSDOT CADD Standards is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively interact with clients, consultants, and team members
• Strong attention to detail, with an ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Demonstrated ability to understand and execute complex technical instructions
