We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent role that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of civil engineering projects, from storm water management design to land development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure, such as roads, railways, airports, bridges, harbors, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, and water and sewerage systems. Responsibilities:
1. Develop detailed designs for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
2. Oversee the design and implementation of storm water management systems, ensuring they meet all necessary regulations and standards.
3. Design and manage the construction of sanitary sewer systems, ensuring their efficiency and longevity.
4. Participate in land development projects, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure the successful completion of each project.
5. Conduct hyrdology studies and develop plans to manage water resources effectively.
6. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
7. Prepare reports, designs, and drawings, and present them to clients and stakeholders.
8. Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations, environmental policies, and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a civil engineering role, preferably with a focus on storm water management design, sanitary sewer systems, and land development.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
4. Strong knowledge of hyrdology and its application in civil engineering projects.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
7. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
8. Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
9. Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
10. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
