Civil Engineering Technician, Rail + Transit - T.Y. Lin International

TYLin is seeking Engineering Technicians (entry level Engineers) to be part of a team that produces design and structural details for projects.

• Perform engineering calculations and analysis for the design of civil improvement plans.
• Prepare plans, specifications and estimates in accordance with applicable design code.
• Calculate quantities and prepare engineering estimates.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, and memos for development of projects.
• Organize and maintain project files.
• Other assignments as needed.

• Requires a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program, Master’s Degree is a plus.
• Relevant internship or related work experience preferred on civil design projects, specifically, roadway, parking, utility, site development and water resources design.
• In process for EIT/EI preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written and presentation skills are required.
• Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.

• High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range for this position.  $70,400 - $88,000 annually.  TYLin is proud to offer a comprehensive total rewards package.
