Civil/Geotechnical Engineer - Harrison Consulting Solutions

Multi-state design firm is seeking a Senior Civil/Geotechnical Engineer with a focus on dam projects for their team in Lincoln, Nebraska!

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership/project management for water resources projects
  
• Tasks include inspection, investigation, evaluation, design, and construction of both existing and new dams, reservoirs, levees, and hydraulic structures
  
• Promote high standards and exceed industry standards
  
• Develop/review design calculations, engineering reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications
  
• Conduct senior-level review of construction documents (calculations, plans, specifications)
  
• Assist with business development
  
• Build/maintain client relationships
  
• Coordinate project workloads with multiple offices
  
• Represent firm at networking events
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  
• 12+ years of experience in hydrology, hydraulics, geotechnical, and/or structural engineering
  
• PE License
  
• Proficient in evaluating construction drawings and technical specifications
  
• Knowledge of state and federal dam safety design methodologies, policies, and regulations
  
• Project management/client relations experience
  
• Business development and proposal experience
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
