Job Posting: Civil Litigation Associate Attorney
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Company Overview: Join our established firm in Charlotte, North Carolina, as we seek a motivated and experienced Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to contribute to our dynamic team. We handle a diverse caseload, providing legal representation in commercial, regulatory, product liability, premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, personal injury, construction defect, professional liability, and insurance-coverage matters.
Responsibilities:
- Manage various phases of litigation for assigned cases.
- Handle all phases of discovery.
- Appear before state and federal courts.
- Perform legal research.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conduct depositions.
- Develop case facts and legal arguments.
- Report case updates to managing attorney and clients.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in commercial litigation, insurance defense, professional liability defense, and/or construction defect litigation.
- Strong research and writing capabilities.
- Significant experience in trial and deposition.
- Bar license in the state of North Carolina.
Work Environment:
- Indoor office setting.
