Job Description:

A highly-rated law firm in Franklin, TN, recognized by Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and holding an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, is seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney with at least 2+ years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the firm’s Commercial Litigation Partner, providing high-level litigation support and handling all aspects of civil and commercial litigation cases.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to the Commercial Litigation Partner in all phases of litigation.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Manage discovery, including document review and production, depositions, and interrogatories.
• Assist in case strategy and development of litigation plans.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure effective representation and manage case expectations.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure timely handling of all tasks.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in commercial litigation is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to high ethical standards and professionalism.
