Civil Litigation Defense Attorney - Gpac

Gpac (Growing People & Companies, www.gogpac.com) is a national executive search firm and we have been retained by a thriving civil litigation defense practice to search for a talented Attorney to join the firm’s Jersey City, NJ practice.

Background

You will be representing the firm’s insurance company clients and their insureds, as well as corporate clients, in all aspects of civil litigation. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, negotiating on behalf of clients, and preparing pleadings, discovery, and motions. You will also have the opportunity to manage cases independently and as part of a dynamic case team. They value independent thinkers who can also work effectively as a team member, and they believe that these qualities are essential for success in their firm.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the New Jersey state bar.
• 5 – 15 years’ experience in civil litigation.
• Strong legal research abilities and excellent negotiation skills.
• Top notch written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000
