We are currently seeking a full-time Civil Project Engineer to join our Civil-Geo-Environmental team in Columbus, Ohio.
Job Snapshot:
- Our Civil group undertakes a wide range of projects with a particular focus on the evaluation and design of dams, landfills, reservoirs, storm water management, slope repairs, and erosion and sediment control.
- Development of conceptual designs, engineering analysis of design alternatives, drawing/detail preparation, construction cost estimating, specification preparation, construction site inspections
- Proposal and report preparation, schedule and budget management, and communication with internal and external clients
- Project planning and management, assessing project risks, reviewing project elements for completeness and accuracy, and determining design methodologies
- Mentoring and supporting junior staff
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, geotechnical engineering or related field
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in Water Resources/Civil Engineering
- 1+ years as a project manager
- Experience with either hydraulic and hydrologic analyses or geotechnical analyses
- Proven ability to execute technical aspects of a wide range of projects within a specific region
- Excellent business and technical writing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with erosion and sedimentation controls, roadway design, site design, or other civil projects
