Summary:
Looking for a Civil/Structural Construction associate to join a growing firm. This will give you the opportunity to be involved with innovating projects that are large scale and technically challenging. They are a stable/industry leader looking to grow their team!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare engineering calculations and installation drawings for post-tensioning and reinforcing applications including repair and strengthening of infrastructures such as buildings, bridges, tanks, etc. Knowledge of carbon fiber reinforced polymer system is preferred.
- Oversee and direct detailers in the preparation of shop drawings for assigned projects.
- Participate in product development, testing, and certification projects.
- Provide technical support to project managers and field operation teams.
- Communicate with contractors and design engineering firms, as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Engineering concentration required.
- 3-5 years of Engineering within the Construction Industry.
- Knowledge of civil and structural engineering principals.
- Knowledge of codes such as ACI, PTI PCI, AASHTO, AISC, etc. required.
- Experience in post-tensioning and use of structural analysis and CAD software.
