Job Title: Civil Superintendent

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to oversee construction projects and ensure their successful execution. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise civil construction activities, including asphalt and concrete paving, and underground utility work.
• Review and manage multiple engineered plan sets, anticipating conflicts and identifying scope gaps.
• Maintain detailed daily logs, including weather, workforce, equipment, and work progress.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports summarizing project status, including challenges and updates.
• Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, Vice President, and onsite team members.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years in a construction supervision role.
• 4-year college degree preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of civil construction processes and ability to manage multiple trades.
• Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects and foresee potential issues.
• Certifications: OSHA 30 certification required (can be obtained upon hire).
• Technical Proficiency: Computer savvy and capable of maintaining accurate daily logs and reports.

Work Environment:

• This position requires working on the job site from an office trailer.
• This is intendened to be a temporary position - no guarantee of employ retention after job is finished
• Intended to be a 15 month long job
