We are currently searching for a talented Civl or Environmental Engineer V to join and grow with our Water / Wastewater Engineering team! This position is open to candidates in Charlottesville, VA or surrounding areas.

This Opportunity:

• Manage drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects and project teams to support the planning, design, and construction of water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping, distribution, storage or conveyance projects
• Develop creative solutions to complex water and wastewater treatment and conveyance challenges, working closely with our team of engineers, designers and other professionals
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver innovative project solutions
• Maintain close relationships with clients throughout development of projects and after completion
• Manage and mentor junior level staff
• Build and strengthen client relationships

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Experience managing multi-discipline infrastructure projects
• Experience in the design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial drinking water or wastewater treatment projects
• Proven understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of water / wastewater treatment systems, equipment, and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Residence in Charlottesville, VA or surrounding areas. Qualified candidates from other states may be considered, depending on skills and experience.
• Five (5) years of experience designing and/or managing wastewater treatment or conveyance projects
• Five (5) years of experience designing and/or managing drinking water projects, including treatment, wells and pumphouses, storage facilities, booster stations, and distribution systems
• Knowledge of regional water and wastewater issues and familiarity with the municipal government client base
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Ability to scope and budget new drinking and wastewater facility projects and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in project management software and tools

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $115,000 and $145,000 based on skill set and experience.
