About the Job
The 3PL Claims Administrator is a departmental support role whose primary responsibility is to administer claims cases submitted from Inventory, Repair, Triage, Delivery, and Concierge Departments. The claims administrator will monitor all cases and submit any and all claims to 3PL providers based on the companies’ contractual agreements. All denied claims will be reviewed to ensure denial is accurate based on each provider contract.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- General:
- Monitoring daily workload/ reviewing and balancing the workload
- Communication daily/weekly with the 3PL providers on any open/denied claims
- Communicate daily with Arhaus team members regarding open cases
- If the piece is non-repairable, all information regarding the product/order will need to be communicated with the Inventory department in order to have the piece marked out
- Ensure when a claim is filed it is documented in the order located in Storis
- Provided weekly/monthly Salesforce reports on processed claims
- Communicate with management on all claim repetitiveness based on 3PL provider/location.
- Communicate with the Warehouse Operations Administrator regarding all payment information
- Provide month-end report on funds received based on the 3PL provider
- Ensure all claims filed are completed and followed up on in a timely fashion
- Generate a working SOP for filing and the handling of claims, as well as reporting.
- Distribute daily compliance reviews of the 3PL return trailers received back to the DC
- Maintain/ update regional scorecards for the Transportation Team
- Facilitate & monitor all 3PL Hub to Hub Redirect Requests
- Customer service (handle talking to clients on home damage claims)

Education, Experience and Other Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred
- Years of experience: 2-5 years of customer service experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s license preferred
- Computer proficiency: Working knowledge of computer programs, STORIS or Salesforce experience preferred
- Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including order processing, picking, and shipping processes and procedures.
- Dedicated to business and allow flexibility with work hours if necessary

- Repetitive processing steps.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer’s information.
- Always willing to adapt to change and keep an open mind to training
- Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
