Claims Assistant - Core Specialty Insurance Services, Inc.

Provide administrative support to the Claims technicians and office management. Perform duties in an efficient manner to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

Job Description:

• Answer multi-line phones.
• Take messages and distribute them efficiently and appropriately.
• Clarify and answer customer requests for information.
• Explain the claim reporting process to customers.
• Document loss reports
• Enter data persuant to claim reports
• Organize claim files
• Process payments
• Provide additional general administrative assistance to claims technicians, senior staff members

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• High School diploma is required, some college preferred.
• Prior claims experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a team environment and be flexible to daily changing needs and job duties
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities 
• Effective time management
• Proficient data entry skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to learn database applications related to claims services
• Bilingual English/Spanish candidates preferred\

Pay Range:

The expected pay range for the role is $40,000 - $45,000.  The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and experiences.    The disclosed pay range estimate may also be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
