What you’ll do here:
This Financial Analyst role is responsible for analyzing claims data to identify trends, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making. This role involves working with large datasets, creating detailed reports, and collaborating with various departments to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our claims operations.
- Analyze large datasets related to insurance claims to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
- Use statistical methods and data analysis tools to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and claims metrics.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders, including senior management, to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with claims teams to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize claims processing, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by regularly auditing and validating claims data.
- Manage and update databases and data systems as necessary to support analysis and reporting needs.
- Work closely with IT, claims, and other departments to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to leverage data for broader organizational goals.
- Adhere to data governance and security policies to protect sensitive information.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to data usage and reporting.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- 2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Bonus if you have knowledge of insurance claims processes and regulations.
- Bonus if you possess a data certificate or similar experience
Where you’ll work: This is a hybrid opportunity, Tuesday through Thursday in the office.
