Claims Manager, Property & Liability Claims - AssuredPartners

Administer and supervise the day-to-day activities of the branch operations and staff.  Maintain good rapport with the departments/clients to ensure smooth and efficient handling of claims and provide client satisfaction in settling claims.

Keenan specializes in providing consulting services in the areas of: employee benefits, workers' compensation, loss control, financial, and property & liability.

• Oversee Examiner claim file caseload as assigned.
• Prepare and conduct claim file reviews as assigned.
• Be sensitive to proprietary nature of Company and client information.
• Responsible for ensuring claims are listed on agendas for JPA discussion.
• Attend JPA or other client meetings as needed.
• Review monthly trust account invoicing.
• Handle all matters of assigned accounts (i.e., inquiries, problems, concerns, special projects).
• Review monthly loss runs.
• Review incident reports on assigned accounts.
• Work closely with claims examiners to provide support and assistance to ensure claims are being handled properly.
• Assign workload and coordinate attorney assignment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years Property & Casualty liability claims experience required.
• Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.  Adept at accessing business data from the Internet when required.

Compensation:

The target salary range for this position is $125,000.00 to $150,000.00 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. Hybrid work environment flexibility. It is preferred this role be located in Southern California with the ability to be present at Keenan’s corporate office in Torrance, CA on a hybrid schedule.
