Position Overview:
Ensures timely and accurate detail working with insurance companies and getting authorizations and eligibility for home health patients. This is done by phone, electronically (Web) or faxing to insurance companies. Shift could be 8 hourshifts with the possibility of working weekends.

EDUCATION:
HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Basic bookkeeping principles, general business procedures, knowledge of consumer collection and billing rules and regulations.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to process requests quickly, accurately, and consistently with general supervision.
Able to work with others in a flexible and cooperative manner.
Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint, and internet research.

Pay Range is $20.46 to $27.62 / hour
_The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
