Claims Representative - Leading Insurance Broker - Base Salary to 90k/year - Woodbury, NY

• Our client, a 80+ year insurance brokerage in the Woodbury, NY area on Long Island has an immediate need for a Claims Representative to join their team. They also provide risk management and employee benefit services along with commercial and personal insurance solutions.

Responsibilities:

• The Claims Representative will be an integral and key player in the growth of the team. The Claims Representative will be responsible for submitting first reports of all personal and commercial lines claims, creating claims notes, communicate with insureds & carriers, prepare claims narratives for claims reviews, gather necessary documents, info & data for analysis and understanding of complex claims, etc. Claims include GL, Property, WC, Auto, Management Liability, Personal, etc

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of claims handling experience.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 85k - 90k/year range, plus bonus and annual reviews.
• Full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k + match, PTO, paid holidays, etc.
• Hybrid schedule. 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
