Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with general liability claim investigations, including but not limited to review of video surveillance footage, and securing required incident documentation and evidence while modeling and fostering the Company's Culture of Caring
- Coordinate with guest property claims including but not limited to retrieval and inspection of guest property, investigation and confirmation of item value, and processing reimbursement requests
- Assist with general liability litigation discovery process, including collection of documentation and preparation of file materials as requested in litigated cases
- Initiate, draft, receive, respond to and direct departmental communications and related materials, including but not limited to General Liability and Risk Management phone calls and emails
- Capture, review, print, log, and distribute general liability incident reports
- Organize and maintain general liability claim files, monitor and log claim activity, and scan closed files for preservation
- File documents related to general liability, sanitation and food safety on a weekly, monthly and/or annual basis
- Collaborate with LEYE managers, employees, insurance representatives, investigators and attorneys, to collect and exchange information, and schedule claim-related activity
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with professional contacts including but not limited to investigators, attorneys and insurance representatives as well as LEYE managers and employees
- Process invoices for third party services including food safety audits and security
- Track, log and file Health Department food safety inspection reports and action plans
- Generate and distribute departmental reports as needed
- Generate customer service requests for complimentary restaurant certificates and reconcile incident activity with LEYE customer service department
- Assist stores with maintaining food safety supplies including but not limited to signage, notices and forms
- Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and office equipment including risk management software
- Maintain availability to work a variety of days and events including nights and weekends
- Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
- Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
- Work in a confined, crowded space of variable light, noise and temperature levels
- Ability to occasionally retrieve and distribute files or office supplies weighing up to 10 pounds
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in risk management or related field
- Restaurant industry and food safety and sanitation experience is ideal
Knowledge of general liability insurance policies and procedures
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
