What You'll Do: As an Auto Claims Service Specialist, you will handle auto physical damage claims that do not require field investigation. You will act as the hub between the customer, repair facility and claim staff to provide world class service by handling claims in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner. While handling claims, you will prepare detailed and organized running notes and documentation in accordance with established procedures. Requests for internal and external customers, departmental staff, and other FBL personnel will be handled according to FBL Financial Group, Inc. policies at all times. As an Auto Claims Service Specialist, you must keep a service-oriented attitude at all times by maintaining professional and productive relationships with coworkers, supervisors, agents, agency managers, claimants, policyholders, attorneys, repair facilities, and others.
· Act as the hub between the client/member, repair facility and claims staff to provide world class customer service for auto physical damage claims.
· Make same day contact with the client/member to provide support once agreement on repairs is made with the PARS or Open Shop repair facility.
· Coordinate the assignment of a rental vehicle to the client/member and manage the rental during the repair process.
