Claims Supervisor – Technical Third-Party Oversight (TTPO)

How you will create an impact
- Acts as a key member of the TTPO WC claims management team.
- Serves as the direct manager for assigned TTPO WC staff. Provides leadership and guidance on claim technical, customer and organizational issues.
- Conducts regular file reviews (both Open File Reviews and routine diary) to assess file quality, ensure compliance with TTPO WC and AIG Claim Handling Guidelines, and provide feedback on claim investigations, reserves, action plans and resolution strategies.
- Provides reserve and settlement authority on TTPO WC claims within designated authority.
- Needs experience managing Major Loss and CAT claims.
- Multiple jurisdiction experience and licensing preferred.
- Conducts regular performance assessments (mid-year and annual) and provides information/recommendations to management on annual TDC and STI adjustments, and promotions, if applicable.
- Communicates and collaborates with internal and external customers on issues impacting TTPO WC claims and programs.
- Reviews and escalates, if needed, potential TPA E&O claims.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Minimum of 10+ years of workers compensation claim management experience
- People/Performance Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university (preferred)
- Ability to make independent decisions within prescribed authority limit.
- Strong (oral/written) communication and interpersonal skills.
