Class E driver at Express Employment Professionals

Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Class E Driver / Yard Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting lumber materials to various locations while also assisting in yard operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate Class E vehicles to transport lumber and related materials to designated locations.
2. Load and unload materials from trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques.
3. Assist in organizing and maintaining the lumber yard, including stacking lumber, sorting materials, and keeping the work area clean and orderly.
4. Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
5. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
6. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and prioritize work assignments.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class E driver''s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience operating forklifts and other yard equipment preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
