Clean Room Manufacturing Technician, 1st Shift - restor3d

POSITION SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for production and post-processing of medical devices. Common secondary processes include cutting, deburring, media blasting, polishing, filing, cleaning, and packaging. This role will be focused on implant cleaning operations.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES

• Principal responsibilities for the position include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
• Clean and passivate medical implants and instruments
• Assemble and package sterile and non-sterile goods
• Interpret engineering specifications and drawings
• Dimensional and visual inspection of manufactured goods as part of quality-controlled process
• Perform equipment maintenance
• Ensure high quality production in adherence with industry standards
• Follow all appropriate safety precautions, including usage of PPE and maintaining facility cleanliness

EDUCATION

• Highschool diploma or GED required
• Associates or post-secondary education preferred

EXPERIENCE

• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve
• Ability to work in a regulated industry including adherence to good documentation practices and good quality practices.
• Strong visualization and analytical skills

• Position may involve the use of:
• Machine shop tooling such as cutters, bandsaws, and basic handheld tools
• CNC equipment such as Mill, EDM and lathe
• Furnaces
• Direct Metal Printers
• Polymeric 3D Printers
• Media Blasting Cabinets
• Testing Frames
• Cleaning and Inspection Equipment
