Job Description
Oversee and ensure adherence to operating procedures within the Shipping and Paneling Departments. Develop and update procedures to address current needs. Provide technical support to optimize both current and new products, enhancing yield through SPC implementation, process troubleshooting, documentation development, and the introduction of new manufacturing processes.

Job Requirements
Staff departments appropriately based on volume.
Hire, train, and motivate department personnel.
Ensure quality, safety, and high performance standards within departments.
Maintain smooth material flow through departments.
Address and resolve yield, manufacturing, or equipment issues.
Meet production demands through supervision, training, motivation, coaching, and disciplining employees.
Conduct weekly safety audits and distribute reports.
Schedule employees to meet production requirements; plan and organize daily workload, including control document review.
Use system-generated reports to verify accuracy and completeness of daily production reporting; correct errors and prevent future issues.
Analyze production data to identify trends.
Design and perform experiments to improve processes and reduce costs.
Support operators to improve yields and efficiencies while reducing scrap.
Develop and implement necessary training programs.
Perform cause and corrective action analysis.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas according to company standards.
Establish and monitor operating and safety procedures for departmental equipment.
Manage production and safety supplies within budget and minimize waste.
Collaborate with Process Engineering to resolve production-related issues.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervise employees within covered departments.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems, all in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university, preferably with an engineering emphasis; or a two-year degree with four years of related experience.
Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with computers is essential.
