JOB TITLE: Common Area Cleanup Attendant

SUMMARY
Seeking a professional attendant to perform a variety of cleaning and housekeeping duties. The attendant will be responsible for cleanup of RV Resort tiny cabins, glamping cottages, and office buildings. They will be in charge of maintaining all public and private spaces to employer standards. Duties will include vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, laundry, trash collection from offices/cabins/cottages, and housekeeping duties to include linen removal and replacement. Attention to detail and a positive attitude is a must. The right person is punctual, thorough but fast, and eager to learn.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Dusting and cleaning surface areas
- Cleaning walkways, grounds, picnic pavilions and roadways
- General pest removal, which includes spraying of bees, wasps, and ants
- Performs general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of floors
- Using vacuuming equipment; vacuums and cleans carpets, perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed
- Disposing of trash from bins/containers and cleaning; including parking lots
- Polishing furniture and room accessories as needed
- Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in private and public bathrooms
- Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintaining and upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products
- Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products
- Keeping all public spaces neat and tidy
- Reporting repairs and replacements as needed when encountered on the job
REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to follow verbal directions
- Ability to work well alone, with a partner, or team
- Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
- Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines; excellent time management skills
- Pays attention to detail when cleaning
- Organized and able to follow a schedule
- Must be at least 18 years of age with valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Report for 3 years.
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with ability to stand for long lengths of time; physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time; ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques for cleaning
- Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to handle regular exposure to outside weather conditions daily.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience is preferred, but training will be provided.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
· Ability to calculate figures and transfer correctly to hourly/daily logs.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

- Must have valid Drivers License and clean Motor Vehicle Report
